A Guide to Easter Brunch in Wauwatosa

There’s something special about that big meal on Easter Sunday. Families come together all dressed up to celebrate over a delicious meal. It doesn’t get any better than that.

From honey glazed ham to the best in Italian cuisine, the options for Easter Brunch in Wauwatosa are about as bountiful as the menus themselves.

Here are a few of our favorites:

Cafe Grace, 11200 W. Burleigh St.

Located minutes away within the Mayfair Collection is a French bistro with a cozy atmosphere, great food and an ambiance that takes you straight to Paris. The eatery will be serving their seasonal market table style brunch with honey glazed ham from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, April 1.

But the menu doesn’t stop there. Also included on the market table are selections such as smoked salmon with creme fraiche and capers, a seafood tower with shucked oysters and shrimp cocktail and assorted croissants and breads with house-made preserves. Entrees include specialties like Croque Madame, with ham, gruyere, mornay sauce, and a sunny side up egg.

Maggiano’s Little Italy, 2500 N. Mayfair Road

There will be fun for all ages the day before Easter at Maggiano’s Easter Bunny Brunch. The event begins at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, March 31 with an Easter Egg Hunt, and features various stations where kids can make Easter treats, eggs and crafts. Take a picture with the Easter Bunny before sitting down to enjoy classic brunch dishes with an Italian-American twist.

Pancakes and benedicts are among the fan favorites on the brunch menu, which also features creme brulee french toast with cranberry raisin focaccia, maple syrup, and strawberries.

Ristorante Bartolotta, 7616 W. State Street

For a bit fancier of fare, dine at one of Tosa’s historic landmarks in the village. Ristorante Bartolotta offers a three-course brunch menu allowing patrons to select from salads, soups and other starters.

Main courses include sauteed pork cutlets served with marsala sauce, green beans, shallots, mushrooms and potato in addition to delectible benedicts and steak and eggs.

Finish it off with your choice of dessert, including options like flourless chocolate cake or sea-salt caramel custard with chocolate ganache.
